IN BAJARDO, IMPERIA
On July 11, 2015 Il testamento was performed in the old Church of San Nicolò in Bajardo (Liguria). After its premiere at the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin on March 26, 2014, Il testamento, a theatrical play with arias (op. 66) came to Italy, scored differently: the protagonists from the Dublin performance were accompanied now by a new scoring. A violin and violoncello, on stage, replaced the off-stage synthesizer. Margaret Bridge was the singer/actress, Dearbhla Collins was the pianist/actress, Richard Thomas played violin, and Cormac O’Brian, the violoncello.
