Corin Gallery, Meyerhoff Art and Theatre Building Goucher College Towson, Maryland, USA November 15 – 30, 2004
For this exhibition Riccardi made a group sketches while still in Italy and used them for a series of paintings after arriving in Maryland. The paintings tend toward essentials, whether of color (almost monochromatic) or of shapes (reduced to their bare outlines). The themes are the same as featured in his earlier exhibitions: the female figure, the author at the mirror (that is to say a multiplication of form) and finally partial self-portraits that in this case are recomposed in the eye of the viewer.
